SYNCADD Announces Merger With Sigma Planning Group

JUNE 1, 2017, Honolulu, HI: SYNCADD Systems, Inc., (“SYNCADD” or “company”) a global provider of Technology and Data Management Solutions, today announced a definitive merger agreement with long-time business partner, Sigma Planning Group, Inc. (“Sigma”). The agreement, which has been unanimously approved by the owners of both companies, creates a powerhouse company providing services to the USA’s Military and Department of Defense. The companies will conduct business under the SYNCADD corporate heading moving forward.

The merger expands SYNCADD’s geographic presence and strengthens its expertise in facilities requirements analysis to support Army installations and commands. The combined company will be privately held and operated out of SYNCADD’s Honolulu, HI headquarters and Arlington, VA locations. The company will maintain Sigma’s Daleville, VA office.

“The merger brings together an encompassing domain of facility management capabilities providing a comprehensive set of services and subject matter expertise to support real property management,” said Irene Motonaga, SYNCADD’s President. “These services include data collection and maintenance, inventory analysis, facility requirements analysis, space management and quantitative analysis, Chief Financial Officers Act (CFOA) audit readiness, and GIS analysis and support, all in an auditable and spatially-enabled environment designed to benefit our real property clients.”

Founded in 1985, SYNCADD is the industry leader in technology solutions related to space management, business systems integration, geospatial solutions, and real property utilization solutions. The company developed the enterprise Pro-active Real Property Interactive Space Management System (ePRISMS), the cloud-based strategic space management tool selected by the U.S. Army as its worldwide resource utilization tool in 2016.

“The merger extends Sigma’s ability to support installations with our expertise by leveraging SYNCADD knowledge and tools to improve the accuracy and auditability of our analysis and the viability of those outcomes. It will allow us to provide a tabulation of existing and required facilities with an auditable link between facility requirements by net space by function and the net areas occupied by function,” said Dwight R. Luedtke, Sigma’s President.

Since its founding in 2002, Sigma has focused its work on facilities requirements analysis, real property management, and the standards that regulate design as well as the Common Information Components of Installation Management related to facility requirements and adequacy.

SYNCADD is an Esri Federal Small Business Partner and both companies are accredited woman-owned businesses holding GSA contracts.
