Standards Compliance

The Latest Standards, Realized.

Complying with the latest standards and regulations can be a complicated process. That’s why SYNCADD’s clients rely on us to develop and maintain their data. We ensure all geospatial data layers and metadata comply with the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) and Army Installation Geospatial Information & Services (IGI&S) guidelines, the Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), the Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE), the CADD/GIS Technology Center’s A/E/C CADD Standard, and applicable Army Regulations (ARs) and Operation Orders (OPORDs).

SYNCADD has a long history of providing policy and guidance support to Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) Installation Status Report (ISR) and Installation Geospatial Information and Services (IGI&S) Programs, the U.S Army Reserve Headquarters IGI&S Program, and the Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) IGI&S Program, GEOFidelis.  This includes support for DoD initiatives, Army Regulations, Memorandums, Plans, Guidance, and Procedures. We assisted and led the Army and U.S. Army Reserve in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the DoD GIS Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) suite of standards, including SDSFIE vector, metadata, raster, and data quality and were instrumental in developing the SDSFIE 4.x Army Adaptation.
